Bostwick Laboratories® is a pathology reference laboratory providing premium service to physicians, patients and managed care organizations.
We offer complete histologic services, including tissue processing with routine and special stains. DNA ploidy analysis is offered on prostate biopsies with cancer. We also render second opinions on challenging cases referred to us by physicians and patients from around the world. Our laboratory is actively involved in clinical and basic research, continuing medical education of our pathology colleagues and patient education.

About the Opportunity/Requirements:
compress This position serves as the resource in the field to market all of the products from Bostwick Laboratories to the company’s clients and customers in order to educate physicians on the value of utilizing our services. Major areas covered are: Public Relations and research, with other areas to be added as the company develops. This position will seek guidance from all departments within the company in matters of company news updates, departmental research initiatives and new procedures identification and instruction.
• Direct sales effort and productivity toward corporate objectives as defined by the marketing plan
• Support communication to the field regarding updates and change in course as necessary
• Manage selling processes to include the following areas: Forecasting, Client Starts, Product Starts, Productivity and Client Relations
• Check email and voicemail at lease three (3) times daily and make prompt responses
• Read information from Corporate Office and respond promptly when asked
• Submit requests for client entertainment programs to Regional Manager. Complete report on ROI after each event and submit in a timely manner to Manager
• Follow field tech program process where applicable through advice and direction of manager, training and technical support; including approval, interviewing, hiring, training and/or replacement, and contact HR immediately of any issues
• Travel as needed and complete all productivity reports and submit special pricing requests as needed
• Assist in all projects and reports as assigned by Regional Manager; request placement of INRD systems through proper channels
• Take personal responsibility for all company owned asses such as laptops, vehicles, fax/printer, cell phones
• Responsible for maintaining a compliant sales effort specific to the company’s Corporate Compliance Standards of Conduct
• Ability to discuss all company products from a technical perspective to a varied audience; urologist, office staff, business manager, pathologist, etc.
• Effective public speaking and presentation development/delivery skills
• Current driver’s license and active comprehensive vehicular insurance
• Knowledge of laboratory/medical industry including sales, market trends and compliance
• Independently seeks out opportunities to further the mission and objectives of the company
• Superior interpersonal communication: tactful, mature, flexible and professional
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; resourceful and organized
• Assumes other duties as assigned by management
• Understands and observes all confidentiality and HIPAA provisions
• Responsible for all equipment in assigned areas of work.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and equivalent experience in sales preferred. One (1) to five (5) years outside sales experience, preferably in medical/laboratory fields. From three (3) to five (5) years experience gained through increased sales management responsibility.
