Life Sciences Practice
The Life Sciences Practice Group conducts more than 400 assignments annually for some of the most respected names in the industry. POSITION
Reporting to the Research Director, the Research Associate will partner with the consultants of EZI, giving them ideas and insights into industry and market trends as well as company history and performance. A key attribute of any member of the research team is strong communication and influencing ability. Because it is the Research Associate’s responsibility to identify relevant candidates during the course of a search, s/he must be able to quickly and concisely convey his/her decisions to consultants. S/he must be able to verbalize his/her strategy and thought process behind identifying the targeted group for each assignment. The Research Associate should also be prepared to work with and mentor more junior-level researchers and assistants who may be part of the team assigned to a particular project, familiarizing them with specific issues and approaches that will in the short term directly lead to a project’s success and in the long term support their career development.
A candidate must also demonstrate strong prioritization and time-management skills. Research Associates are typically required to execute multiple projects for clients and consultants in addition to completing the daily tasks associated with the role. Suitable candidates for the Research Associate role must be able to manage deadlines without always having to ‘cram’ at the last minute.
