We believe that our employees are the key to our continued success. We currently have exciting job opportunities for a Specimen Processing Technician.

The Specimen Processing Technician is responsible for the processing and storage of laboratory specimens in compliance with GLP guidelines, study protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
•Receive, log in, centrifuge, separate and/or prepare specimens according to SOPs and protocol design. Also responsible for documentation of these activities.
•Disposal of specimens according to SOP and protocol design.
•Assist shipping area with arranging and counting specimens prior to shipment.
•Maintain sample receipt area.
•Request supplies for processing activities.
•Monitor and document refrigeration equipment according to SOPs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
•High school education or equivalent
•Basic knowledge of the use of Laboratory Processing
•CLA (Certified CLA Laboratory Aide) Certification preferred
•Previous experience in laboratory work desired.
